It was so quiet, but the silence was comfortable just sitting side by side. I’m happier than I’ve been in recent times… Simplicity does suit me well. No games played, no heart aches, just sincerity and truth. Simple like goldfish, who apparently have a memory span of only 3 seconds. But I’d rather remember bad times than not remember at all. Because we live and learn from the past. Don’t make the same mistake twice because that only proves you’re an idiot.
I’m hungry and I’m really thinking about a nice ice-cold horlicks and a thick toast with peanut butter like the ones you get at Hong Kong cafes. Funny how I was in Hong Kong in March, and on the last day, I really wanted some of the toast but I couldn’t find it anywhere in the airport… I was sad. And hungry. I think I might just grab some tomorrow. I really hope this cough goes away soon, the medication is really making me drowsy, which is unfortunate because I have much like photo-editing, tv-watching and music-listening to do.
I was super excited to go back to work after being absent for 5 days. Had this heaving, thumping sensation in my stomach which just wouldn’t leave, I guess it was the anxiety of getting back to shooting after so long. Everything went great, a lot better than I expected, and I got off earlier at 5pm, which allowed me to get some rest at home that was much appreciated considering I’m still feeling under the weather.
Yes, I forgot to mention that two days ago I pretended to be a rockstar and recorded a small part of a song that was written for Wayne. I seriously wouldn’t mind doing it again because it was really fun singing over and over again. I think I had to sing more than 16 times to get the parts right but it was really worth it. I still think I sound strange, but it’s probably the whole freaky thing about hearing your real voice- it just doesn’t sound right.
Oh well.
