I like work: it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

Tetra Pak Factory

They used the crap picture instead so I’m putting this one up to make myself feel a tad bit better. I visited the Tetra Pak factory two days ago and really enjoyed it. It was clean and had this quaint little pond next to the cafeteria. Ah, these Swedish companies sure know how to treat their employees well, which is a nice contrast to the other shitholes I’ve seen in recent times.

Singapore is so goshdarn hot! Caught the later part of Something Good at the Youth Park/*Scape yesterday, which had a nice turnout. A Vacant Affair really stole the show, the crowd was mad moshing and body-surfing surfaced many times over! Got hit by flailing arms and legs a couple of times but it was fun nonetheless. Matt has this boundless energy that just amazes me. He can fling himself across the stage, trip over mic cables over and over again, jump into the crowd and still walk away not so much worse for wear. I don’t know if that made sense but for those of you who’ve seen him perform you know what I mean. Hats off to you, dude. I hope AVA gets to open for Funeral For A Friend.

In other news, I’m currently in the office waiting to get a lift from a colleague to the National Stadium for a shoot. Kindly switched my morning shift for the later one because he needs to go for a wedding. But it’s burning my weekend badly, and I have the morning shift tomorrow as well. Bu it’s cool cause I only have to get in at 11-ish. The value of rest has steeped these days (but my mother will tell you otherwise considering my pechant for wanting to push the boundries of sleep depreviation).

Will be putting up more gig pictures soon, look out for in-the-moment head bangs as well as mad people crowd-surfing. Oh yes, Esplanade is calling for people to send in their portfolios for Bay Beats 2007. I think I just might…

Therese, I promise my next post will have your big lovely face on it. :) :):)
