I’ve been suddenly hit with the urge to dress up, put on make-up and go out partying with my girlfriends.
We’ve been spending pretty much everyday home, not-so-kool-kids circa hermits.
Dar’s birthday came and went, I actually cooked for the first time in the longest time, a chicken roast to boot! Made complete with a side of ratatouille, baked squash and potatoes as well as a baked salmon appetizer. The company was too good, and we ended the night with a game of mahjong.
Poptarted the night away on Wednesday, singing silly songs and choreographing avant garde dance moves, never seen before. Laughs, tequila shots, beer, beer, more beer, new friends, weeeeeeeeeeeeee, haha and the end of the night with a ridiculous misunderstanding that will definitely be a topic to bring up in the future.
Movie marathon week- Shawshank Redemption, Music and Lyrics, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (We are the knights who say, “Ni!”), Hot Fuzz, then of course the weekly dosage of Gossip Girl, Chuck, The Big Bang Theory, Criminals Minds, CSI, what more can I ask for?
I’ve also had a good Murakami fix with Kafka on the Shore and Sputnik Sweetheart. Wow.
Recharge Festival coming up in Melaka, with Elias and gang, something to look forward to. Then there’s my birthday to think about… nah I probably won’t do anything special.
